For home and school. These printable FEELINGS CARDS are great hands-on visual aids when working with groups and individuals for counseling, working with special needs kids, kids on the spectrum, classroom behavior modification situations, and more.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
192 cards include hand-drawn illustrations with the emotion label in large bubble letters beneath. 3 variations of 64 different emotion/feelings cards with 64 different faces - ready to print and use.
64 cards with images in full color including colorful bubble letters of that emotion
64 cards with black line images with bubble letters. (Great for coloring and writing projects.)
64 cards with black line drawings and bubble letters. The face area is blank so kids can draw their own interpretation of a feeling.
16 8 1/2 X 11 inch pages with 4 feeling cards per page.
Each card measures 4.25 X 5.50 with text when cut apart
Suggestions for preparing the cards for use with kids:
Print out the cards you want. (Print the color cards on card stock.)
Laminate the color cards if possible. They will last so much longer and can be wiped off after little sticky fingers have used them.
Cut apart on the cutting guide lines.
ACTIVITIES and IDEAS for USE:
PUNCH holes in the cards you choose and attach them with string or a ring clip for use in games, discussion groups, writing projects, etc.
CRAFT STICKS glued to the back of the cards makes them easy to use in group activities. "Hold up the card that shows how you are feeling today."
PASS out the cards. Have each person name something they do that makes that feeling.
MAKE A FACE and choose a card that represent the face one person makes.
HOLD up a card that represents the feelings of characters in stories.
OPPOSITE feelings matching activities.
CHOOSE a card and write an experience you had that caused that feeling.
GROUP DISCUSSION When I feel (feeling), I want to (action) I can (action).
ACT out emotions on the card you choose.
CATEGORIZE the cards (happy, sad, angry, etc.)
DRAW a cartoon strip about the emotion card you choose.
WRITE a story about the emotion on the card you pick.
