Fun Stuff PUMPKIN FOLD BOOK K-5 (Karen's Kids Printables)

Karen's Kids fun fall pumpkin fold book activity is perfect for fall or a Halloween celebration.  Two versions - one for little guys K-1 and one for older kids.  11 sections in the folded book with sentence prompts that guide students to write and draw about their pumpkin. Guidelines for each version included.

JUST FOLD VERSION

Kids fold the pattern.  Graphics help beginning readers decode words.  Kids write and draw their responses.

CUT PASTE FOLD VERSION

This version includes some careful direction-following skills.  Students fold, cut, paste, and then write their responses.  This colorful and creative version is well worth the time it takes to put it together.   

READING BUDDIES PROJECT

This would be a fun activity for older reading buddies to do with their younger reading buddies.  Make a book, without the responses, for the younger buddy.  Read the prompts (or guide them to read) and have them share and write their responses.  Give them the finished book.
